We are working with a well established and very famous Non-Profit that's looking to hire an accountinge clerk to help support their office in Carson, California. They are looking for someone who will help assist in accounts payables, accounts receivables, processing checks, reconciliations, and cash applications. They are offering great pay, training, as well as a pay increase upon conversion with this role.salary: $23 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: AssociateResponsibilities Process full cycle, high volume accounts payable for multiple units. Assist with maintenance of A/P & A/R Vendor files and other system files as required. Review new vendors and be familiar with W9; 1099 requirements. Process A/P & A/R Invoices in an accurate and timely manner. Process personal, Petty Cash and Mileage reimbursements. Verify coding of invoices for payment from the proper account. Ensure that Salvation Army policies and procedures are followed. Maintain record of sales taxes for quarterly report. Generate checks. Prepare backup documentation to be sent with checks. Research A/P & A/R issues. Follow up with outstanding checks and stale checks. Primary liaison with field units for A/P related issues. Customize Ensure reimbursement and petty cash forms are the same for all units. Verify that all vouchers and supporting documentation are properly filed. Reconcile A/P & A/R Aging Reports monthly.
