job summary: An Inventory Control Coordinator is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Schaumburg, IL area. This is an SAP-focused inventory management role responsible for the end-to-end accuracy of the supply chain and will manage replenishment, physical audits, and logistics coordination to ensure field operations and production stay fully stocked and organized. location: Schaumburg, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $18.59 - 19.62 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Maintain inventory accuracy and Material Handling best practices across all supply chain transactions.Execute daily SAP transactions including stock transfer orders, deliveries, and goods receipts.Partner with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.Manage material replenishment using SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.Update material master data, including reorder points and maximum stock levels.Oversee physical inventory cycles, including scheduling, reconciliation, and posting adjustments.Coordinate monthly scrapping activities and ensure accurate documentation and certificates of destruction.Utilize exception and health check reporting to verify the integrity of SAP records.Collaborate with Field Service, Procurement, and Production teams to resolve supply chain issues.Identify and implement process improvements within a dynamic service operations environment. Skills: Self-motivated and can work independently.Understanding of Inventory management and reconciliation.Customer service oriented.Positive attitude, ability to get along with others inside and outside the department.A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
