Provide guidance, support, and training to department employees, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing efficient operational strategies, processes, and procedures to maximize productivity, accuracy, and overall performance in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and driver activities. Assist with overseeing inventory control processes, including receiving, storage, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs, optimize inventory turnover, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Support the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, carrier selection, documentation, and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments. Assist in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, including order picking, packing, and shipping, while meeting customer requirements and delivery deadlines. Coordinate driver activities, including driver scheduling, route planning, and communication. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to driver qualifications, vehicle maintenance, and records.
