Job Description: You will be the vital link between broken tech and satisfied clients. Reporting to the Production & Repair Coordinator, your daily missions will include: Tech Triage: Assist and support all repair, testing, and level 1 staging functions across our configuration and deployment teams. The Fixer: Perform essential diagnostics (pass/fail), cleaning, and preventative maintenance on a huge variety of mechanical and electronic equipmentfrom printers and scanners to monitors, displays, PCs, servers, and POS systems! The Builder: Master the assembly and disassembly of sophisticated POS hardware, following proprietary Spencer Technologies instructions and customer specs (with guidance from senior techswe won't leave you hanging!). The Detective: Conduct level 1 troubleshooting on equipment that's being staged and processed. The Documentarian: Maintain impeccable transaction records and detailed data entry for all processed work. Accuracy is your superpower! The Go-Getter: Research and obtain necessary equipment specifications, test procedures, and guides to stay ahead of the curve. Team Support: Pitch in to help with assembly/disassembly of registers and collaborate with all Shared Services teams. Quality Champion: Help us maintain Spencer's top-tier quality control by adhering to all approved procedures and standards. Building the Future: Assist in preparing and supporting new product introductions. What You Bring to the Team (Qualifications) Experience/Training: You've either met all requirements through previous experience or acquired applicable technical training on-site. Willingness to Learn: You're ready to expand your technical skills in testing, troubleshooting, and staging. Compliance King/Queen: You willingly adhere to all Spencer Technologies policies and procedures, including PCI, ESD, and Safety. Flexibility: A consistent and positive attendance pattern is a must. The Extras (Additional Awesome Duties) Tech Savvy: Utilize MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) for communication and filing. Mentorship: Assist in training and supporting entry-level Production Operators as needed. System Navigator: Learn and use our ERP system (Squire) with moderate assistance.
