Machine Operator Helper / General Warehouse Job Description:This position requires good attention to detail, stamina, dexterity, and physical strength. This position is responsible for adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly moved, fitted, aligned and secured, and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties. We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months of previous experience working in manufacturing and/or warehouse positions.This position is in a manufacturing environment with no AC or heat, meaning it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.Hours: Mon-Thurs: 3pm-11pm, Fri: 1pm-9pm. The occasional Saturday may be required. We also have a First Shift and Pre-First Shift (earlier start than First Shift) avaliable.Pay: $15.00/hour. Fabricator Responsibilities: Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.Taking part in product development meetings.Verifying dimensions and product specifications.Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.Marking cutting lines on material.Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.Ensuring that quality control standards are met.Maintaining a production schedule.Testing products for their functionality.Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls.Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.Adhering to assembly safety standards.Assist with general warehouse tasks as required (forklift certification NOT required).Must supply your own steel-toed boots.
