If you have 5+ years of hands-on experience, your own tools, and a "get-it-done" attitude, we have a spindle waiting for you.salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 2:30 PM - 12 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesTo be considered for this position, candidates must accurately and efficiently operate equipment including Milling machines, engine lathes, surface grinders, band saws, ProtoTrak SMX hybrid CNC/manual mills, and SL20 HAAS CNC Lathes. Key Responsibilities: Production: Review customer drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations. Design and build fixtures/jigs for unique setups. Programming & Setup: Adjust offsets and programs to maintain strict tolerances; work from shop prints and travelers. Quality Control: Conduct in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers; utilize shop math to verify part accuracy. Maintenance: Perform basic equipment upkeep, including light mechanical repairs and monthly coolant maintenance. Shop Support: Assist with deburring, tapping, and assembly; maintain accurate digital and physical production records. Safety: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on machining experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in shop math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry) and reading technical drawings/models. Tools: Must own a personal set of Machinist’s tools and be expert with precision measurement tools (calipers/micrometers).
