We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the operation of production machinery by completing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motors, electrical controls, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and mechanical assemblies. You will perform intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting of PLC-based equipment, AC/DC power circuits up to 480V 3-phase, and fluid power circuits while maintaining strict adherence to OEM standards and safety policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safety First: Follow all HSE protocols including Lock-Tag-Verify (LOTO), fall protection, confined space, forklift operation, and hot-work standards. Electrical & Automation: Troubleshoot/repair circuits (24VDC to 480V 3-phase), motors, relays, and sensors. Diagnose VFDs and interface with PLCs (Allen-Bradley) for logic adjustments. Mechanical Systems: Inspect, rebuild, and align pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and drive systems using precision measurement tools and alignment lasers to OEM specs. Fluid Power: Troubleshoot and service hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, including valves, regulators, cylinders, and proportional controls. Fabrication: Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication for repairs or equipment modifications. PMs & Data: Execute PMs/corrective maintenance. Analyze performance data to improve PM programs and support continuous improvement. Collaboration: Maintain accurate maintenance records and coordinate with planning and production to resolve equipment abnormalities. Qualifications and Abilities 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, controls, and power distribution. Proven experience in Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting and VFD programming. Ability to read/update electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics. Skilled in mechanical alignment, bearing replacement, and precision assembly. Root-cause analysis and critical-thinking skills; self-motivated and organized. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand/walk in a loud, variable-temperature environment.
