Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our manufacturing facility. You will be the backbone of our fiscal health, overseeing everything from paying our local suppliers to ensuring our team of 20+ employees is paid accurately and on time. This role requires a "hands-on" approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with our external CPA for year-end reporting and tax strategy.salary: $57,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP) Manage the full cycle of AP, including coding invoices, obtaining approvals, and processing payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of raw material purchases and manufacturing overhead. 2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate and send invoices to customers upon product shipment. Monitor aging reports and perform proactive collection activities. Process incoming payments (Check, ACH, Credit Card) and prepare bank deposits. 3. Payroll & Human Resources Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 20 employees (mix of hourly shop floor and salaried staff). Maintain employee records, track PTO/sick leave, and manage payroll tax filings. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws. 4. Financial Reporting & CPA Liaison Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management review. Act as the primary point of contact for the external CPA, providing organized work papers for year-end tax preparation and financial audits.
