Conduct active, independent negotiations for site budgets and payment milestones using established internal guidelines. Participate in critical meetings with site personnel, legal, and finance stakeholders to resolve complex contract issues. Track contract progression and maintain accurate documentation within clinical systems. Escalate significant contract and budget roadblocks to appropriate management levels to ensure project timelines remain on track. Support the Clinical Pricing and Payments Group by ensuring sites are correctly configured for timely payments. Review and facilitate approvals for Informed Consent Form (ICF) changes in collaboration with legal counsel. qualifications: Required Skills Clinical Negotiation: Recent, active experience (within the last 3 years) negotiating clinical trial site contracts and budgets. Expert Excel Proficiency: Ability to work within complex, interconnected workbooks. Must be able to independently build and troubleshoot macros, write advanced formulas, manage absolute references, protect/unprotect data, and convert data formats while preserving integrity without external coaching. Document Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including navigation, redlining, and working within strictly controlled document templates. Education/Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience combinations as per standard clinical operations requirements). Technical Readiness: Ability to utilize a computer with a physical keyboard and mouse for mandatory, proctored testing of Excel and Word skills. Availability: Ability to maintain a consistent, full-time remote presence during standard business hours. Preferred Skills Background in legal, contract, or document-heavy environments. Previous experience as a JD/Attorney, or as an operations or financial documentation specialist.
