We are seeking a dedicated, career-driven professional to join our team in the role of Production Planner. The Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing production schedules to support ontime delivery of mirrors, camera systems, sensors, and related collisionavoidance products for bus and commercial fleet customers. This role ensures materials, components, labor, and equipment are aligned to meet customer demand while maximizing production efficiency and maintaining high quality standards.salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities Create and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and inventory levels Assist in implementing production sequences to minimize downtime, optimize machine use, and ensure the timely delivery of products Review engineering changes to incorporate into the production plan Participating in reviewing and adjusting schedules where needed Monitor raw material and component availability (glass, plastics, hardware, harnesses) Work with Procurement to resolve shortages, supplier delays, and part quality issues that affect production Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Inventory to support continuous improvement efforts and resolve production problems Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and risks to managers, supervisors, and line leads. Participate in daily production meetings to review production, constraints, and delivery requirements Track production output, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization Prepare reports on production performance, shortages of material, and forecast accuracy Use ERP system (Epicor) to generate work orders, allocate materials, and monitor WIP Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, line balancing) Other tasks as assigned by operations managementThe essential functions of this role include: working in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 30lbsstanding for 4 hours at one time Skills Schedule AdherenceOperationsProduction ControlProduction Planning (5 years of experience is required)Production schedulesOn time delivery Qualifications Years of experience: 3 yearsExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
