Gathers, analyzes and compares competitive product data and pricing. Maintains market intelligence database.Plans and conducts market research and feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.Represents company at exhibitions and conferences to gather market intelligence and to promote company products and services.Calls on management representatives, engineers, and other professional and technical personnel at end-users to develop desirability and practicability of products or services offered.Reviews plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare product forecasts. Proposes changes in process, or use of materials or services with would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of functional ink materials. Provides technical training to employees of client. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of developing expertise in other company software systems. Must be able to install, remove and update computer software.Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
