Responsibilities include assigning work, analyzing productivity and methods, recommending improvements, resolving personnel issues, administering discipline, assisting with disputes, enforcing policies, and maintaining union relations. Duties involve scheduling and assigning labor, monitoring progress, minimizing overtime, and reporting production results. The supervisor improves production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and workplace safety. They address food safety and quality issues, inspect products, and adjust machines as needed. Leading the maintenance team, the supervisor develops and analyzes data and creates action plans to reduce downtime.
