job summary: Full time, Direct hire- Local client in Salem, OH is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler from a manufacturing setting. Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience planning/scheduling from any manufacturing industry and must have experience working with ERP systems. Client is offering a base pay, tremendous work culture, full benefits/401 K and internal growth opportunities. location: Youngstown, Ohio job type: Permanent salary: $58,500 - 68,500 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Give input to supervisors to create a schedule to support the manufacturing press schedules.Develop shipping schedule to minimize freight costs and support customer delivery expectations.Prepare press schedules to include customer priorities in conjunction with Customer Service Department.Lead daily production/sales meeting.Timely verbal and written communications with all departments related to changes that will affect the production schedule when appropriate.Communicate upcoming delivery issues to sales personnel and provides scheduling alternatives.Comply and promote safety initiatives within normal job duties as well as throughout the operation.This job has no direct subordinates.
