We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our established Supply Chain team in Minneapolis. This role is integral to the nuclear fleet’s operations, focusing on large-scale capital projects and onsite services. Rather than supporting a singular project, you will act as a core member of the sourcing team, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact contracts. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will manage the full Intake-to-Award process and provide ongoing post-award support: Sourcing & Strategy: Review and validate stakeholder sourcing requests, ensure compliance with internal standards, and conduct comprehensive vendor risk assessments. Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and execute complex contracts for large capital projects. Maintain meticulous nuclear contract records (life-of-plant retention). Event Execution: Lead sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, and competitive bidding processes. Supplier Relations: Manage supplier performance, facilitate recovery plans when necessary, and resolve invoice or purchase order (PO) discrepancies. Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to bridge gaps and ensure project timelines are met. The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional who thrives in a collaborative, high-stakes environment where attention to detail and relationship management are paramount.Qualifications & Skills Strategic Sourcing: 6+ years of proven experience in purchasing, contract development, and supplier management. Software Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Word (complex formatting/redlining), Excel, and PowerPoint. Project Scope: Experience managing large-scale projects with complex service or construction scopes. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, or Construction Management. ERP Systems: Experience with SAP (strongly preferred), Coupa, or similar e-sourcing/CLM tools. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nuclear or Energy industry.
