The Mission In this role, you aren't just managing deliveries; you are building the environments where modern business happens. As an Assistant Project Manager (APM), you serve as the critical link between high-end architectural design and the physical reality of the job site. You will support seasoned Project Managers in navigating the "Triple Threat" of modern interiors: high-end aesthetics, complex technology integration, and global supply chain logistics. You will use proprietary asset-tracking technology to provide a level of transparency that is industry-leading. Why This Role Matters This position is designed for someone who wants to "supercharge" the wisdom of industry veterans. You will be in the field, in the showroom, and in the boardroom, acting as an indispensable resource in the digital evolution of the commercial interiors industry. Who You Are (The Ideal Profile) The Bridge: You have deep empathy for the "way things have always been done" but an obsession with how they could be done more efficiently through technology. Problem Solver: You see a "clash" on a floor plan and proactively coordinate with the design team to fix it before it becomes a costly field error. Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in project management software and comfortable learning proprietary logistics and inventory tools. Background: Experience in Construction Management, Interior Design, Business Operations, or Logistics is highly valued. salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Modernize the Process: Bridge the gap between "old school" industry expertise and "new world" automation. Data Integrity: Assist in transitioning project data from traditional methods into repeatable, digital workflows to ensure total visibility for leadership. Standardization: Ensure every project—from a startup company to a 500-desk HQ—receives the same standard of automated reporting and real-time updates. Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a liaison between Designers (aesthetics), General Contractors (schedules), and Clients (budget). Technical Fluency: Read blueprints and CAD floor plans to spot "clashes" (e.g., a desk layout blocking a power outlet or a modular wall interfering with HVAC). Project Coordination: Coordinate installation crews and sub-contractors, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and the client’s vision is realized. Punch List Mastery: Take total ownership of the final "punch list." You understand that a firm’s reputation is won or lost on the final minor adjustments, scratches, or missing parts. The "Cool Head": Maintain composure when elevators break, sites aren't ready, or shipments are delayed. You bring solutions to the PMs, not just reports of problems.
