job summary: Seeking a motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Network Planning Engineer. As a Network Planning Engineer, candidate will support design, implementation, and optimization of communication network solutions. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external teams, work independently on special projects, including developing network designs based upon emerging customer requirements. Other tasks include negotiating commercial vendor products, developing procedures for implementing new network designs and managing small to large network projects. Technical Skills: - Understanding of Telecommunications Carrier LEC/CLEC & IXC connectivity and infrastructure o Knowledge of telecommunications carrier ordering systems and processes o Knowledge of Transport/Access equipment installation, test & turnup including new installs, additions, removals, provisioning and turnup of systems o Knowledge of Telecommunications support systems (E.g.
