Mixing Room Manager (Bakery Production) Company: Randstad USA Location: Braintree, MA Job Type: Full-time (Includes early mornings, weekends, and overtime)About the Role We are seeking a self-motivated Bakery Mixing Room Manager to lead our daily mixing operations. You will supervise the mixing team, oversee production flow, and maintain strict quality control to ensure all products are accurately formulated and delivered on schedule.Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Supervise daily mixing room activities to meet production schedules outlined by the Head Baker. Team Management: Direct, train, and mentor laborers and mixing technicians to promote safety, quality, and high productivity. Quality & Food Safety: Monitor the line for safety and foreign material issues. Isolate non-compliant products immediately and notify the Quality Assurance department. Hands-on Operation: Operate commercial mixing machinery as required, strictly following Manufacturing Operating Procedures. Compliance: Enforce company Accident Prevention Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP protocols. Ensure the team maintains a clean work area. Efficiency: Maximize machine uptime and minimize ingredient waste to optimize cost objectives. Requirements Bakery Expertise: Solid knowledge of bakery ingredients, formulations, recipes, and high-volume mixing machinery/processes. Supervisory Experience: Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume mixing room or production environment. Food Safety: understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and Allergen Control Programs. Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and presentation. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Work Environment Must be flexible to work early morning schedules, weekends, and overtime to facilitate production deadlines.
