What You’ll Do Keep production running smoothly by maintaining and repairing industrial equipment—everything from hoists and HVAC systems to high-pressure boilers and magnetic drive pumps. Experience in electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, plumbing, pneumatics, and mechanical repair. The ability to read blueprints, use tools safely, and think critically when faced with new challenges. Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and across all types of environments. Troubleshoot different equipment and systems such as rectifiers, magnetic particle inspection equipment, air compressors, deionized water generators, PLCs, VFDs, and complex control systems. Respond to production interruptions and other emergency situations quickly and efficiently. Refurbish equipment such as spin dryers and diaphragm pumps by replacing worn components and refinishing. Assist with various maintenance infrastructure projects such as complex installations and the restoration and redesign of facilities. Manage and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems. Support stringent standards of presentation, housekeeping, and organization through the restoration and replacement of lighting, furnishings, oxidation remediation, paint, landscaping, and other aesthetically focused projects. Use Six Sigma, 5S, and lean principles to optimize work environment and ergonomics. Identify hazards/unsafe working conditions and collaborate with Health and Safety to implement viable solutions. Recognize, qualify, and implement upgrades and improvements to enhance facilities and equipment.
