Field Service Technician Location: Field-based (Primarily U.S. and Canada, with potential for South America) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to provide technical support, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our customers. In this role, you will be the main technical point of contact for clients across North America, traveling 85%+ of the time with 2-3 week stints out at customer locations. Perform preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades. Recommend and identify necessary spare parts. Capture customer feedback to help improve our products. Support project planning and ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish. This Role Requires: Extensive travel, up to 85% annually, including trips of two to three weeks at a time. Core Skills & Expertise: Proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. strong understanding of electromechanical components and machine systems. Ability to troubleshoot using tools like DMMs and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP platforms. The ability to act as a technical advisor and trusted partner to our customers. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance. strong knowledge of electrical (480V), pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North America and, if needed, internationally. Knowledge of plastic extrusion or packaging machinery is a plus.
