job summary: CONTRACT OR DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY/ HYBRID WORK/ VARIOUS CITIES A SCADA Engineer is needed for a leading EPC organization. The SCADA Engineer with a strong background in SCADA and Communications design for Substation Utility or Generation clients. The SCADA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing SCADA and Communications systems for high voltage substations, including the design of RTUs, RTACs, HMIs, IEDs, and other communications components. In addition, you will be involved in computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, preparing equipment and system specifications, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Qualified candidates must have a BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), along with a minimum of 7+ years' of experience in protection and control design, with a specific focus on SCADA and Communications systems. Experience in working directly with clients and supporting marketing proposals/efforts would be advantageous, as well as having the ability to manage design budgets and schedules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration and project execution.
