The Editorial Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Communications team. An ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience or aptitude working with data – assessing, organizing, quality-checking. The primary focus of the Editorial Specialist is to assist with data updates and markups on a variety of documents. This will require pulling data from a number of systems and sources and organizing that data for record-keeping purposes. This is a long term 12 month assignment. Must be able to work a Hybrid schedule in their LA office 3 days Tuesday - Thursday. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on economics, finance, statistics, journalism, or a related field. Must have 1 to 3 years of experience in editorial, marketing and/or data analysis Professional experience in finance or another data-intensive industry, or a minor or major in a quantitative/business discipline at college, is preferred. Must have advanced Excel skills, which include the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, grammar, and syntax skills.
