job summary: We have a 3 month contract opportunity for a Clinical Informatics Specialist (Cerner Provider Support & Training). This position is onsite in Hoffman Estates, IL Position Summary The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a liaison between clinicians, clinical operations, and technology teams to optimize the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical applications. This role provides frontline support for providers and clinical staff, delivers Cerner training and personalization services, and promotes effective use of clinical information systems to enhance patient care, patient safety, clinical productivity, and provider satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong Cerner expertise, experience supporting providers in an inpatient hospital setting, and the ability to educate and support clinical end users.
