job summary: Tatum by Randstad is working with privately held multi-faceted real estate investment firm primarily focused on development and acquisition of office and industrial assets, is seeking an Accountant / Senior Accountant to support its growing investment platform in its Atlanta. This individual will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions for our properties under development and operating assets. location: Atlanta, Georgia job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 95,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 3 Years responsibilities: Prepare monthly progress draws from Yardi Construction Manager, ensure completeness of back-up provided, maintain all supporting documents. Track and code all details of project / development costs by budget, commitments, actuals, and forecasts using Yardi job costing module. Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports - prepare journal entries, financial statements and bank reconciliations. Assist in cash flow analysis, ensure adequate project liquidity, process funding requests. Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, job cost and other Yardi reports. Assist with annual budget preparation - compile key assumptions and capital budget information, maintain lease level budgeting for all tenants, review and coordinate the budget input into the accounting system. Support asset managers in review and preparation of monthly variance reports. Oversee Accounts Receivable process - monitor cash receipts, review and bill tenant recurring charges and billing adjustments. Coordinate Accounts Payable process - review invoice coding and approvals; ensure proper audit trail is in place. Review leases, leasing activity, and critical lease dates to ensure accurate billing. Review operating agreements, joint venture agreements, and debt agreements to ensure compliance.
