A leading litigation and appellate law firm based in Tallahassee, FL is seeing a Senior Litigation Paralegal with 7+ years of experience. The location of this role can sit anywhere in Florida, with a preference to Tallahassee, Tampa, and Orlando. In this role, you will serve as a lead paralegal on high-level litigation and appellate matters. This includes experience with formatting appellate briefs and a deep understanding of state and federal appellate rules, particularly those of the Florida Supreme Court. Other tasks include: Handle the full lifecycle of a case, including discovery, drafting legal documents, and ensuring all deadlines are met Conduct e-filing in Florida state and federal courts Take full ownership of calendaring for assigned cases and manage personal billing, with an annual target of 1,000-1,500 hours Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of litigation paralegal Prefers experience with a large law firm ("Big Law") handling high-level cases for private businesses and state agencies. Registered as a Pralegal with the FL Bar (or open to registering once hired).
