Tatum by Randstad is presently conducting a search for a Director, Finance / Controller ona part time permanent basis (25 30 hours/week) for a well established, mission based children's educational organization.

responsibilities:
The Director Finance / Controller will handle high-level accounting, cost accounting, and oversee the financial activities of 4 entities with
the support of an accounting staff of 2. Other responsibilities include:
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies
- and procedures.
- Issues timely and complete monthly financial statements.
- Prepares on demand reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and
- trends.
- Maintains an orderly accounting filing system.
- Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Provides management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing
- and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing forms, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and
- consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
- Assembles financial data for external reviews and audits.
qualifications:
This is a hybrid role that works with a friendly group of professionals. The ideal candidate will have 10 + years of experience, be able to effectively work well in a smaller
environment, and possess top-notch verbal and written communication skills.
