We are seeking an accomplished Interim Chief Financial Officer to lead our international Professional Service Clients Accounting and Finance department. Operating at roughly $300M in revenue, our firm provides sophisticated professional services to clients worldwide. Expected duration is 3-6 months.
This role is ideal for a veteran finance executive with deep Private Equity experience who understands the urgency, rigorous reporting requirements, and value-creation levers expected by institutional investors. As a global firm, the ideal candidate must bring strong international finance exposure and a proven track record within the professional services sector.

Key Responsibilities
- PE Portfolio Leadership: Deliver high-cadence financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and KPI dashboards aligned with Private Equity sponsor expectations.
- Global Financial Management: Oversee international accounting, multi-currency reporting, and global treasury operations.
- Professional Services Metrics: Optimize industry-specific metrics including utilization rates, billable hours, project margins, and realization rates to maximize profitability.
- Strategic Cash Management: Maintain focus on working capital, optimizing the Order-to-Cash cycle and managing global banking relationships.
- Team & Systems Stabilization: Lead, mentor, and stabilize an established finance and accounting team, ensuring operational continuity and strong internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience
- Prior Professional Service industry experience.
- Proven experience serving as CFO for a Private Equity-backed portfolio company.
- International Exposure: Demonstrated experience managing finance operations across multiple geographies, dealing with foreign exchange (FX) risk, and international compliance.
- Prior experience in a leadership role at a company of similar scale ($200-$500M revenue).
- Ability to work from our Houston, TX office 3+ days per week.
