responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, GL accuracy, and monthly financial statement preparation for a diverse portfolio of LLCs, trusts, partnerships, and private foundations.
- Monitor valuation updates, performance metrics, and transaction workflows including capital calls and distributions for PE, VC, hedge fund, and real estate investments.
- Execute daily liquidity tracking and short- to long-term cash flow forecasting to fund capital investments, construction initiatives, and high-net-worth obligations.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions, fund transfers, and shared expense allocations across interconnected corporate entities.
- Synthesize and deliver audit- and tax-ready financial packages to external CPA firms to optimize year-end compliance processes.
- Facilitate annual budget creation, variance analyses, and continuous cash projections to support long-range financial planning.
- Develop and maintain rigorous financial controls, accounting procedures, legal contract repositories, and corporate record-keeping systems.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA (active, eligible, or in progress) strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive Accounting experience, navigating complex, multi-entity structures, including intercompany billings, transfers, and allocations.
- Proven ability to compile organized, accurate financial data packages for external CPAs and leadership.
- Flexible, "wear-many-hats" mindset with strong skills in ad-hoc analysis and translating complex financial metrics into strategic guidance.
