In this key leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end AP operations, guide a talented team of 3, and champion process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within a highly regulated environment.

responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and delegate daily responsibilities to the AP Data Clerks, fostering a high-performing and collaborative department.
- Direct end-to-end accounts payable processes, tracking all expenditures, invoices, statements, purchase orders, and check requests to ensure transaction accuracy.
- Manage all partner relationships, handle complex payment and credit inquiries, and reconcile processed disbursements by verifying supporting documentation against balances.
- Organize monthly recurring invoices and partner closely with the Finance team to facilitate accurate, timely month-end closing accruals.
- Compile key financial statements and status reports for the CFO, Director, and VP of Accounting, ensuring absolute compliance with company policy and Gaming Commission regulations.
- Drive continuous departmental improvement by implementing, optimizing, and maintaining a paperless, automated AP workflow.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to provide necessary documentation, reconciliations, and support for audits and tax preparation.
qualifications:
- Two+ years of recent AP or accounting experience is required
- Oversees full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, including vendor issue resolution, credit applications, and tracking.
- A strong understanding of expense accounts, cost centers, and compliance issues surrounding AP processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify variances, research billing discrepancies, and resolve complex vendor payment disputes effectively.
