Accounts Receivable Specialist
Overview of the Company & Role A family owned and operated wholesale distribution company based in Exton, PA seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for immediate hire.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is responsible for managing customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency related to invoiced sales and payment applications, managing overdue accounts and reconciling the overall account status. While core responsibilities are outlined below, this role will also provide flexible support across departments as business needs evolve.
This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
Daily invoicing of company sales
Daily check deposits
Daily review of aging reports and contact with customers that have past due balances
Provide customer service regarding payments issues, refunds and collection resolutions
Process and review account adjustments, resolve account discrepancies and short payments
Submit collection notices and payment reminders to customers with overdue accounts
Generate monthly aging reports and submit to Sales department
Submit monthly statements to customers
Review credit applications and enter new customers into accounting system
Collaborate with Sales and Logistics departments on the status of customer accounts
Manage and update Sales Tax Certificates per state requirements
Perform other assigned tasks and duties as needed
qualifications:
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills via phone and email
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortability in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to problem solve independently and works well in a team setting
- Paid vacation, personal and sick time
