Apremier, multi-entity distribution and field services organization generating $40M+ in annual revenue is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers hands-on ownership of the general ledger, multi-currency treasury, and regulatory compliance across a dynamic portfolio of business lines.

responsibilities:
- GL & Financial Reporting: Own the general ledger and assist in driving efficient month-end and year-end close cycles; prepare comprehensive balance sheets, P&L statements, and budget packages.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Perform complex domestic and international bank reconciliations, oversee corporate card statement workflows, and manage bank account administration across multiple corporate entities.
- Compliance & Tax Filings: Execute required monthly state and federal regulatory reporting, including specialized industry/excise filings and state sales tax schedules.
- Inventory & Financial Analysis: Analyze inventory reporting metrics, evaluate cost structures, and deliver actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Audit & Risk Support: Assist leadership with year-end financial audits, tax preparation workflows, and commercial insurance audit reviews.
- Executive Decision Support: Partner with the Controller to create customized reporting packages and financial analysis for ownership and executive leadership.
qualifications:
- 4 to 7+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, ideally in distribution, multi-entity, or inventory-heavy sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of full-cycle accounting, cash management, and inventory controls.
- Solid grasp of state and federal regulatory filings and audit preparation.
- High proficiency in Excel and experience working with standard ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the discretion required when handling confidential family-office/portfolio data.
