Working 100% on-site, you will be responsible for the physicochemical characterization of complex formulas, ensuring that every batch meets the high standards of quality and efficacy our consumers expect. responsibilities:
- Formula Characterization: Execute the physicochemical evaluation of hair and cosmetic products using advanced microscopy, rheology, and internal testing protocols.
- Stability & Design of Experiments (DoE): Assist in designing and executing experiments to analyze product stability, viscosity, and aspect, including in-vitro testing.
- Data Management & Traceability: Maintain meticulous records and ensure complete traceability of all characterizations, from initial sample recovery to final data reporting.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to the operational flow of sample logistics between the formulation and characterization labs to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Technical Exploration: Actively explore and implement new methods for formula characterization to keep the laboratory at the cutting edge of industry standards.
- Lab Autonomy: Manage bench-scale batching and maintain stability records with a high degree of accuracy and independence.

Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physical Sciences, or a related field with 2+ years of laboratory experience; OR a specialized Certification/Diploma in Quality Control or Physical Measurements.
- Technical Rigor: Strong background in math and science with a critical sense for conducting analysis and reporting results.
- Lab Environment Experience: Proven ability to work autonomously in a professional lab, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Communication & Tools: Clear communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Mindset: A positive, cooperative spirit with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and a willingness to adopt new laboratory techniques.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Prior experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, or related fields (e.g., Paint, Food Science).
- Instrumentation: Experience with pH meters, Viscometers/Rheometers, Foam analyzers, and Microscopy.
- Batching Equipment: Familiarity with industrial mixers and batching tools such as Olsa, Disconti, or Silverson.
