This 1-year contract role is vital to the Microbiology Laboratory and Environmental Monitoring (EM) Program, supporting aseptic production through critical testing and data integrity. We are seeking a cohesive team player dedicated to maintaining high cGMP standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Conduct microbial testing, including bioburden, membrane filtration, and sterility isolator testing.
- Perform environmental monitoring (EM) of Grade A-D aseptic manufacturing areas.
- Execute analytical assays such as conductivity, total organic carbon (TOC), and endotoxin testing.
- Manage data entry for EM sampling results, LIMS, and laboratory logbooks.
- Author and review SOPs, OOS investigation reports, and change controls to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to support site operations and safety regulations.
qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or laboratory environment.
- Hands-on experience with general microbiology techniques (bacteria, yeast, and mold).
- Working knowledge of cGMPs within aseptic or biological manufacturing.
- Prior experience with LIMS and OOS investigation writing.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data management.
