responsibilities:
- Perform independent Quality Control (QC) of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens, and reports.
- Ensure all regulatory responsibilities strictly comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), SOPs, and EHS standards.
- Adhere rigorously to all established study reporting timelines to keep pipeline projects on track.
- Contribute directly to Drug Safety Research and Development (DSRD) publication data integrity QC.
- Collaborate effectively across pathology lines, interacting with Pathologists, Lab Managers, and Technicians.
- Assist with pathology scheduling tasks as needed to optimize workflow efficiency.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- B.S. in Biology or a closely related field.
- 5 to 7 years of related laboratory or scientific experience.
- Minimum of 5 years working strictly within a GLP environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience performing quality control on scientific data.
- Strong foundational knowledge or hands-on skills in necropsy, histology, clinical pathology, or animal science
- Prior experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary research units and pathology lines.
- Familiarity with data integrity workflows for scientific publications.
