responsibilities:
- Perform organic chemistry syntheses, reagent analysis, and testing of finished products in accordance with the manufacturing plan.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods utilizing advanced ERP functions.
- Document all manufacturing and product development activities accurately using Batch Data Records, laboratory notebooks, and work order documents.
- Critically evaluate, revise, and create process documents to ensure efficient, reproducible, and quality manufacturing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and EH&S to troubleshoot manufacturing problems, investigate process failures, and implement appropriate experiments for corrective actions.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or an equivalent scientific discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of chemical manufacturing experience.
- Master's degree in Organic Chemistry.
- 1-3 years of experience working with polymer chemistries.
- Strong technical writing, organizational, and data analysis skills.
