responsibilities:
- Perform routine environmental monitoring (EM) of classified manufacturing spaces and critical utility sampling.
- Execute microbiological testing under supervision, including bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and method suitability assays.
- Complete accurate Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation and input test results directly into LIMS and electronic systems.
- Prepare laboratory samples, media, reagents, and materials while managing laboratory supply inventory.
- Support investigation activities by gathering data for alert/action level excursions, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science discipline (equivalent lab experience considered).
- 0-2 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment (academic laboratory experience accepted in lieu of industry experience).
- Ability to gown fully for classified cleanrooms and safely handle disinfectants, chemicals, and biological materials.
- Physical capacity to stand/walk for long periods, perform repetitive tasks (pipetting), and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Full availability for the fixed Sunday-Wednesday, 11:00 AM-9:30 PM shift.
- Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Exposure to environmental monitoring, aseptic techniques, or LIMS software.
