This 100% on-site, first-shift position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain foundational experience in GLP laboratory operations, supporting critical safety studies and early research that drive first-in-human clinical development.

responsibilities:
- Support laboratory set-up for necropsy and histology portions of both GLP and non-GLP safety studies.
- Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GLP regulations, and EHS safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with pathologists and lab managers to ensure accurate specimen collection, chain of custody, and documentation.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure full traceability of all specimens and workflows.
- Assist in maintaining organized laboratory spaces and executing routine technical support functions under structured guidance.
qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma with 1-3 years of laboratory experience OR an Associate Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid foundation in general laboratory skills, processes, and SOP compliance.
- Strong ability to multitask, document procedures accurately, and resolve data discrepancies efficiently.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handle physical demands (standing, bending, lifting).
- Associate Degree in Animal Science, Histology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulated environment.
- Basic technical exposure to tissue collection or histology techniques (microtomy, embedding, staining).
