responsibilities:
- Specification & Budget Management: Lead specification collection with Study Teams, validating operational requirements and developing detailed vendor budgets with preferred providers.
- Contract Negotiation & Execution: Draft, negotiate, and finalize SOWs, amendments, and change orders for CROs, central labs, and tech providers under established MSAs.
- Timeline Accountability: Drive vendors to meet agreed Vendor Sourcing Timelines (VSTs) to ensure seamless study start-up and trial continuity.
- Commercial Governance: Enforce Fair Market Value (FMV) standards, eliminate service duplication, and align vendor proposals with master pricing frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the strategic procurement liaison between Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, and Category Management.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of procurement, sourcing, or contract management experience in biotech/pharma.
- Proven track record managing complex clinical vendor categories (CROs, central labs, clinical technology).
- Deep expertise in clinical trial contracting workflows, specification development, and budget modeling.
- Strong negotiation skills within established MSA frameworks and rate cards.
- Advanced degree, legal background, or procurement certification (CPSM/C.P.M.).
