responsibilities:
- Conduct complete case analysis, interpretation, and reporting for clinical whole genome sequencing tests.
- Perform medical notes review, phenotyping, variant triaging, and gene/variant curation.
- Apply clinical literature to synthesize and contextualize findings into comprehensive clinical reports.
- Strategize problem-solving for the analytical and clinical evaluation of complex genetic variants.
- Collaborate within a fast-paced environment to deliver accurate, time-sensitive clinical insights.
qualifications:
- Advanced Degree (or Master's Degree) in Biological Sciences with 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
- Proficient in ACMG/AMP guidelines for SNVs, small indels, and mitochondrial DNA variants.
- Proficient in ACMG/ClinGen standards for interpreting Copy Number Variants (CNVs).
- Strong expertise in genotype-phenotype relationships and analyzing clinical literature.
- Proven ability to manage case loads and meet tight deadlines in a clinical setting.
