responsibilities:
- Manage 25-35 high-volume inbound and outbound calls daily, taking full ownership of patient, provider, and insurance billing inquiries.
- Cross-reference unique account setups against large Excel spreadsheets to ensure highly precise medical billing and pricing.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, case summaries, and resolutions within the CRM system.
- Scan physical payment checks and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) received via mail during on-site days.
- De-escalate complex, stressful customer situations with patience, clarity, and professionalism.
qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing or healthcare customer service experience.
- Proven call center experience with full ownership of resolving complex customer files (not just triaging calls).
- Strong proficiency navigating and managing large Excel spreadsheets or Google Sheets.
- Exceptional data entry and written documentation skills for case logging.
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance, billing processes, and HIPAA regulations.
