responsibilities:
- Plan and execute bench- and pilot-scale downstream experiments, including chromatography, normal flow filtration (NFF), and tangential flow filtration (TFF).
- Perform data entry, statistical analysis, and data interpretation to support process scale-up and optimization.
- Author technical documentation, including SOPs, study protocols, summary reports, process flow diagrams, and BOMs.
- Troubleshoot operational observations during experiment execution and independently analyze results.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to meet project delivery timelines.
qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field with 4+ years of bioprocess industry experience.
- Hands-on expertise with bench- and pilot-scale downstream purification equipment (chromatography, NFF, TFF).
- Solid working knowledge of cGMP practices, analytical assays, and process scale-up/tech transfer.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills for drafting protocols and technical reports.
- Direct experience with JMP software for Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
- Experience supporting IND or BLA regulatory filings and process characterization.
