A Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Intake Specialist I for a 100% on-site role. Joining a dedicated patient-support operations unit, this role handles essential daily administrative support, document intake, and application triaging to assist vital patient assistance programs.

responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks including printing, copying, faxing, and sorting or distributing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Manage high-volume application intake, tagging images, and entering data accurately into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Review incoming applications for completeness and conduct initial assessments to route workflows based on established guidelines.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation within the CRM for every patient case.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out yearly recertifications and special operational projects.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily processing standards.
qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of administrative or general office experience (e.g., file clerk, receptionist).
- Strong computer proficiency and accurate data entry capabilities.
- Ability to work 100% on-site with full schedule flexibility within the 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM window (including potential mandatory overtime).
- High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to sit, stand, and lift/carry office materials as needed.
- Prior experience with CRM system data entry.
- Exposure to basic medical or pharmacy benefit insurance concepts.
