responsibilities:
- Perform routine environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing areas and sample critical utilities per SOPs.
- Execute microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and method suitability testing.
- Accurately document laboratory activities and enter raw data and test results into LIMS and electronic systems.
- Prepare samples, media, reagents, and maintain routine laboratory cleaning, inventory, and equipment.
- Support investigation activities by gathering necessary data for alert/action level excursions and deviations.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related Life Science field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a microbiology, quality control, biotech, or regulated laboratory environment (academic lab experience accepted).
- Basic knowledge of microbiology principles, aseptic techniques, and general lab practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records following strict documentation standards.
- Ability to wear required PPE, gown into classified cleanrooms, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Exposure to environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and LIMS.
