responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine environmental monitoring sampling (viable and non-viable) within classified cleanrooms.
- Collect, process, and document sampling data accurately in laboratory LIMS and EM databases following GMP standards.
- Review monitoring results against established specifications and escalate any excursions or atypical conditions.
- Provide environmental monitoring oversight to ensure classified areas maintain continuous state-of-control.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Microbiology teams to support daily operations.
- Support investigation processes for deviations and excursions by supplying technical data and input.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent combined education/experience).
- Basic understanding of scientific principles with the ability to quickly learn EM techniques and GMP requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedural guidelines in a regulated cleanroom environment.
- Willingness to work a night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotation, with initial day-shift training.
- Ability to meet physical cleanroom requirements, including gowning PPE and standing for extended periods.
- Prior experience in Environmental Monitoring, aseptic cleanroom operations, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or specialized EM software.
