This role offers hands-on experience supporting sterile manufacturing operations within classified cleanrooms on a predictable 2-2-3 schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), with initial day-shift training provided.

responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine Environmental Monitoring (EM) sampling (viable and non-viable) in classified cleanroom environments.
- Accurately log, process, and document EM samples and associated data into lab databases in compliance with GMP regulations.
- Review environmental sampling data against alert/action thresholds and promptly escalate any excursions or atypical conditions.
- Provide cleanroom EM oversight by observing environmental conditions and reporting potential issues to cross-functional teams.
- Support investigation processes for EM deviations and excursions by supplying accurate documentation and technical data.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent combined experience/education).
- Solid understanding of core scientific principles and the capability to follow detailed SOPs and GMP requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to complete full cleanroom gowning and fulfill physical sampling demands (standing, walking, lifting 25-50 lbs).
- Prior pharmaceutical industry experience in Environmental Monitoring, cleanroom operations, or aseptic manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or specialized EM software.
