responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC and GC instrumentation.
- Conduct stability assessments, equipment qualifications, and routine system maintenance/troubleshooting.
- Lead Out of Specification (OOS) investigations and develop comprehensive investigational strategies.
- Author project reports, test specifications, and batch records for seamless technical transfer to QC.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to support product development, method validations, and process improvements.
qualifications:
Required:
- BS or MS in Chemistry or a relevant life science field.
- 2+ years of prior professional experience in an analytical QC laboratory environment.
- Hands-on expertise operating chromatographic systems (HPLC, GC) and detectors (UV-Vis, RI, ELSD, FID).
- Strong technical writing and communication skills for creating procedures, stability reports, and OOS documentation.
- Comfort working with hazardous chemicals while wearing required PPE in a regulated lab setting.
- Direct working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or ISO 17034 regulatory standards.
- Experience operating within GLP, GMP, or medical device/pharmaceutical environments.
