This position is responsible for inspecting, quality-checking, and coordinating offshore cable jointing and termination activities while ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and documentation standards. responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of offshore cable systems using designated tools.
- Witness and verify various cable tests (VLF, sheath, OTDR, termination tests).
- Ensure contractor delivers complete documentation in line with RAMS.
- Enforce and comply with company HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections on cable termination work.
- Submit daily progress reports to Export Cable Technical Scope Manager.
- Review contractor schedules and daily reporting.
- Manage project documentation per records management protocols.
- Handle Permit to Work (e.g., Safety Rules) processes.
- Ensure availability of SAPs for switching activities.
- Coordinate timely execution of cable testing with required equipment.
