A Quality Inspector is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This role involves performing mechanical, cosmetic, and first article inspections to ensure product quality in an aviation manufacturing environment, while supporting new product introduction and addressing quality issues through structured reporting methods.

responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections on products and components.
- Support quality control efforts, including activities for new product introduction.
- Conduct inspection of incoming goods, product returns, and assembly processes.
- Document non-conformances and report major quality issues to leadership.
- Carry out First Article Inspections to verify production processes.
- Proven inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail in a high-speed work setting.
- strong communication and numerical skills, both verbal and written.
- Hands-on knowledge of quality disciplines such as: 8D reporting, 5 Whys, Corrective action report completion.
