A Production Planning Coordinator is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Bartlesville, OK area. This role involves developing and coordinating production schedules, performing detailed planning and analysis for manufacturing processes and equipment, and leading technical problem-solving to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

responsibilities:
Primary Functions:
- Develop schedules by determining project requirements and coordinating with relevant groups.
- Monitor project progress and address problems to ensure contract compliance.
- Support Project Managers by handling details of complex or routine projects.
- Suggest and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction and team performance.
- Plan processes required for efficient production of company products.
- Ensure availability of support services necessary for production.
- Perform analytical duties related to planning, construction, maintenance, and inventory control of large-scale facilities and equipment.
- Initiate improvements to increase group effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Consult with managers, engineers, planners, and designers about designs, schedules, and tooling requirements.
- Estimate requirements considering utilization, function, performance, dimensions, costs, and safety.
- Prepare specifications and documents following company formats and instructions.
- Represent the group in meetings and provide operational recommendations.
- Arrange purchases of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate compliance with quality standards.
- Plan and conduct analyses and tests; prepare related recommendations and reports.
- Lead investigations into complex technical problems requiring unique solutions and rapid responses.
- Evaluate equipment utilization, workflow, and special order requirements.
- Prepare layouts for equipment and workspace to meet project requirements cost-effectively.
- Provide technical direction and coordinate activities of junior staff as needed.
- Requires thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Technical decisions can impact organizational effectiveness, timelines, and costs.
- Ability to act decisively and influence internal and customer decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven accomplishments in related roles.
