This 6+ month contract role blends field engineering, design review, and NOC coordination to ensure network performance and reliability. Position based in Tucker GA office with travel in the state of Georgia as needed.

responsibilities:
- Design and review OSP fiber routes (aerial and underground)
- Support permitting, field walkouts, and construction coordination
- Assist with OTDR testing, diagnostics, and link budget analysis
- Respond to network events and outages in collaboration with NOC
- Maintain accurate fiber records, diagrams, and test reports
- 3+ years in OSP fiber design or network engineering
- Proficient with OTDRs, splice plans, and fiber schematics
- Familiar with CAD, GIS, or fiber mgmt systems (e.g., Vetro, ArcGIS)
- Working knowledge of IP networks, VLANs, Layer 1-3 devices
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel statewide
