A Quality Shipping Administrator is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. The Quality Shipping Administrator ensures all shipments meet quality and contractual standards through detailed inspections, accurate documentation, and coordination with internal teams and customers.

responsibilities:
- Perform pre-shipment inspections to verify product quality, labeling, and contract compliance.
- Ensure shipments align with contract review specifications and customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve shipping-related quality issues in collaboration with production and quality teams.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation including inspection and non-conformance reports.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping and quality concerns.
- Collaborate with customer service to provide accurate and timely shipping updates.
- File and manage electronic QA certification and documentation records.
- Support Lead Inspector and Department Manager as needed.
- Perform other assigned administrative or quality-related tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions.
- strong reading and writing skills to interpret customer specs and technical documents.
- ERP system experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 2-4 years of experience in quality inspection (strongly preferred).
