A Project Controls Coordinator is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. This role is responsible for cost management, forecasting, earned value analysis, and reporting to support project execution teams using EcoSys, with a minimum of 5 years' experience and strong proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Excel.

responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain project costs at Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, incurred costs, and commitments.
- Conduct earned value analysis to assess performance and forecast outcomes.
- Manage monthly project closeouts and reporting in Excel and EcoSys.
- Prepare project change orders in alignment with PMO standards.
- Engage with Project Managers for cost review and reforecasting.
- Verify accuracy of cost transactions.
- Collaborate with broader Project Controls and Field Cost Analyst teams.
- Maintain WBS to align with execution, cost control, and accounting standards.
- Guide Engineering Cost Associates on invoice coding and validation.
- strong analytical background with expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, and intermediate+ Excel.
- strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate with teams.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Controls or Project Management.
- PMP certification is an asset.
